1. Xiaoxia Lane (晓霞弄)

2. Dongyue Temple & Yaowang Temple (东岳庙 & 药王庙)
These two Taoist temples are simple but surrounded by shaded walkways and quiet gardens. It’s hard to believe you’re still in the city center. A perfect escape for anyone seeking calm cultural experiences in Hangzhou.

3. Chenghuang Pavilion (城隍阁)

4. Jiyi Pavilion (积义亭)
Often posted by locals on social media, this secluded wooden pavilion is surrounded by what looks like a mini jungle. From here, you can catch a beautiful view of the Chenghuang Pavilion through the trees. It’s one of the most underrated Hangzhou photography spots.

5. Splashing Water Guanyin & Stone Carvings (泼水观音)
